In detail, the activities included in the maintenance plan are:
- Periodic monthly check on the publication of patches by Magento or third-party modules
- Proactive action on high alerts from the platform (critical security patches) or third-party modules to update
- Magento: Control over the implementability of the released patches (some patches upon first release may not be fully reliable and/or may have interactions with plugins and code customizations and must undergo further rework before being effectively safe and therefore suitable for installation without danger on the specific customer installation) Installation of approved patches
- Normal control and monitoring operations of the complete functionality of the infrastructure
- Platform log checks
In some cases the maintenance fee may include a fixed number of monthly hours, which can be used for further development activities not included in the previous activities, hours which must necessarily be used during the relevant month.
Any hours included in the maintenance contract are always of the "premium" type
The maintenance service, with or without hours included, can be accompanied by a support package of prepaid hours, with discounts on the hourly cost proportional to the size of the package.
